American actor Allison Brooks Janney was born on November 19 1959. Throughout her career of thirty years, Allison Brooks Janney has been recognized in both film and stage performance. Janney has been honored with many awards, including an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. Also, she received Seven Primetime Emmy Awards. She also won two Tony Awards were nominated. Janney was born in Dayton, Ohio. She was born in and lived in Boston. She was awarded a scholarship to take classes in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney made her television debut on television in the year 1999. She was C. J. Cregg in NBC's political series The West Wing from 1999-2006, where she received Four Primetime Emmy Awards. In the Showtime Drama Masters of Sex, Margaret Scully, Janney won the Primetime Emmy Award 2014 for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Janney received nominations at least six times for Primetime Emmy Awards and twice won Outstanding Supporting Actress Comedy Series.
