Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the first moments in her life, including attending rehearsals and watching of plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was just a child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Silk told fans of the show her good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume working. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) as one of their most favored television couples. Entertainment Television.
